Overview.

Brighton has a long history as a traditional seaside resort in England and it still attracts thousands of visitors for the sea, the beach, the Regency architecture, the extravagant Royal Pavilion and the two piers - Brighton Pier and the Grade 1 listed West Pier. Between the Royal Pavilion and the seafront are The Lanes - the core of the old fishing village from which Brighton developed. Now it is a maze of narrow pedestrianised thoroughfares packed with restaurants and shops. There's a lot to see and do in Brighton ranging from its vibrant nightlife and fashionable restaurants to excellent cultural venues.
